Lessons

Lessons are given in increments of a minimum of 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions each week according to the age, level, and goals of the student. Skype lessons are also available. (Not recommended for beginners.)

Cancellation and Tardiness Policy:  There will be no make-up lesson for a last-minute cancellation or no-show by the student. If the student cannot physically come to the lesson, a Skype lesson may be arranged during the scheduled lesson time. In the event of a schedule conflict, a lesson may be rescheduled with a minimum of one week notice, subject to availability of an open lesson time. In the event that the instructor has to cancel a lesson, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.

Out of respect for each other’s time, please plan to arrive five minutes early to get ready so that we can start promptly. In the case that the student is late, that time will not be made up.

Recommended Practice Time: Routine practicing is vital for the progress and development in learning an instrument. It is recommended that the student practices at least 4-5 times the lesson time throughout the week in order to make progress on the instrument.
